I'll be honeymooning around the same time. The weather that time last year in Grand Bahamas was amazing. I'm hoping for a repeat in Nassau.

It's still early and I'm hoping for the best. Considering I purchased a no-refund special at the Wyndham, I could be stuck with a serious loss if things go awry.

Pending airline bankruptcies have my head spinning.

The island of New Providence already has most of its facilities back and Hurricane Jeanne, while not taking it lightly, is not expected to be much of a problem here.

Jeanne may be more of a threat to Grand Bahama and Abaco, who need another hurricane like a hole-in-the-head.

We are staying at Breezes from Dec. 26 to Jan 2. Do you think that the island will have most of its facilities back? I know its early but we are worried because of Hurrican Jeanne now?

Does anyone have any information about Breezes all-inclusive resort/hotel? My fiance and I are looking into honeymooning in the Bahamas are looking for the most romantic resort without paying a fortune. Any recommendations other than Breezes?

Breezes is a great place. But, just a bit further down Bay Street is Sandals, which is a couples-only resort. I love kids, but eliminating them from the picture adds a lot more romance to the scene.

It costs more than Breezes but it is all-inclusive. The food is excellent and the service superb.
