The many beautiful beaches in Grand Bahama took a real beating with these last two hurricanes.

But only a local, very familiar with the beaches, would notice the difference. From a tourist's standpoint, the beaches are still magnificent.

The Sheraton at Our Lucaya will be completely functional by Thanksgiving. Despite the beating that the island took from two major hurricanes, the tourist areas of Grand Bahama will also be in full operation by that time.
