I have visited the Bahamas over 8 times in the past 12 years and feel very much at home on each occasion. I signed for the People to People Program on my second visit and have made many friends through this program.

On a recent visit in November I spent a week in Crown Haven, Abaco, where, along with 2 friends, I enjoyed the hospitality of the villagers and had the joy of sharing an Activity/Adventure day with the young people of St Anne's Church in Crown Haven.

I was upset by the devastation caused by the recent hurricanes but encouraged by the cheerfulness and determination of the people.

On returning to Freeport I particularly enjoyed the cultural evening at the International Bazaar. Please pass my congratulations to Jeffrey who provided a superb "flow" to the evening and to the entertainers. He actually got me to dance? with the Blue Grass music group - something I would have hesitated to volunteer for without encouragement.

Also please convey my thanks through the Tourist Board to Spice who provided a most enjoyable music show and wish her well in her career.

My prayers and Best Wishes to the people of the Bahamas and I look forward to visiting again in 2005.
