building in exuma is a nightmare period...the island doesnt have enough qualified tradesmen...give a man a hammer and pouch and he thinks he is a carpenter and wants $20/hr...theft is also a serious problem as they believe that if they go to church on sunday and repent it doesnt matter...we built a house there it took two years and way over budget...the best day was selling it...buyer beware!!
