I am planning a trip to Bahamas in April and wanted to know if Port Lucaya Resort and Yacht Club has been reopened yet? Also, what is the general hurricane damage situation throughout the Grand Bahama island? Are there still a lot of hotels, restaurants, attractions, etc. that have not yet been reopened? The Port Lucaya Resort is open, and as far as the rest of the Island it never looked like the hurrican hit...some of the residential areas may have some damage, but as for tourista areas, they cleaned up real fast..
