To answer your question, there are no day passes to Atlantis to use their facilities, pools, slides etc. However, there is a pass for $29 which allows you access to the DIGS -Underground Aquariums. The Casino, Shoppes and Lobbies are open to the public.

To get to the public beach on PI, just use the public walkway next to the RIU hotel (which is next to the Atlantis). Atlantis sits on a part of this same public beach.

Can you please tell me the status of Crystal Cay the private villas and the marine park? I spent a vacation there 12 years ago. Is it still operational, is the property up for sale? Is the underwater observatory still operational?

The Crystal Cay attraction has been lcosed for a few years. There are still some private villas there. There are owned by Phillip Ruffin, the Las Vegas casino and real estate mogul.

Any plans for the Villas at Crystal Cay to reopen? We spend a WONDERFUL vacation there in 2000 and even thought it was right after a hurricane and alittle run down, it was still a great private get-away place. My husband even proposed to me in our private pool!!

We're hoping that they reopen and to return. It's a gem of a place!
