They are right there! About 50 feet to either side of where one comes off the boat.

I think you are looking for the Ferry Terminal where you pick up the tours to Blue Lagoon, Island World etc. If that is so, you have to either take a cab over the bridge to the Terminal (it's located nearby the eastern Bridge on Paradise Island) or take a ferry boat across to Paradise Island which will take you to Paradise Dock (under the western Bridge), just a short walk to the Ferry Terminal.
Cab is $8 for 2ppl plus $1 toll. Ferry boat is $3pp and runs every 30 minutes until 6pm.

Either way, you arrive in Nassau, and must get to Paradise Island to reach the Paradise Island Ferry Terminal.

I will be in Nassau, in about a week and a half. I heard of Blue Lagoon Island and saw it on a website and really wanted to go there to enjoy the beach. I have tried but cannot seem to find the ferry schedules on line.

Our cruise ship will only be docked their for 6 hours so I am trying to find one that has a a pretty regular schedule back and forth from that Island.

Any help would be appreciated

Blue Lagoon Island (oficially named Salt Cay) is located 3 miles northeast of Paradise Island, Nassau. Blue Lagoon Island is about three miles long and features a gorgeous natural lagoon near the eastern end where the dolphin facility is located. The beach scenes in the movie "Splash" were filmed on Blue Lagoon.

Check-in at the Paradise Island Ferry Terminal, which is only a 5-10 minute walk from Atlantis; it is the only building between the two bridges on Paradise Island. It is recommended that you arrive 30 minutes before your boat departure time and check-in at the ticket booth.

The boats depart from Paradise Island Ferry Terminal at 8:30am, 10:30am, 1:30pm and 3:30pm.

Cruise ship guests will cruise to Blue Lagoon Island via one of their custom-built catamarans. If you purchased a day-trip, you will be arriving via Nassau Cruise Lines' boats, in which case you need to walk over to Dolphin Encounters.

IMPORTANT: If you have purchased the Close Dolphin Encounter directly with your cruise ship (either online or on board the ship), you are asked to meet the Dlphin Encounter representative at the gangway at the time specified on the Close Encounter ticket that will be distributed to you on board the ship. If you have booked your program directly with Dolphin Encounters Ltd., or a travel or tour agency, then you are required to check in at the Paradise Island Ferry Terminal for check-in time specified for your booking.

The boat ride to the island is approximately 30 minutes.

You can book directly with Dolphin Encounters in advance by calling (242) 363-1003 or send a request via e-mail at info@dolphinencounters.com.
