Officially, you can bring in 1 quart of wine or liquor. I'd say a case of beer between 2 people would be acceptable. Any more would catch an agents eye.
Keep in mind that this adds plenty of weight to you luggage. (and most flights have stricter limitations these days). Also, if you have a connecting flight and take a puddle jumper from Florida, it's likely you and your beer will be seperated. In that case, I wouldn't bet it would arrive with the full case.
Check with your carrier about how to pack, since luggage bays are not pressurized.
