Blue Lagoon is a moderately priced "out island" experience. You take a ferry from the Paradise Island Ferry Terminal.

The most popular attraction is the Dolphin Encounters experience.

The duration of the Dolphin Encounter trip is about 3 hours including the boat ride (approx. 20 minutes each way), but you can also go there for the whole day without participating in the dolphin experience.

They have a beautiful beach, gift shops, an outdoor restaurant with casual dining, beach bars, unlimited watersports, hammocks to relax in, nature walks, reggae dance classes, beach bowling, marshmallow golf (whatever that is :-) and more. Great place to take the whole family, ideal for groups.

Call 242-363-3333 for more information and reservations.

Best time to go? Pretty much anytime, although, it can be a bit crowded during the Summer when local schools and church groups are in attendance. And during the Winter the water is obviously not as warm as during the Spring and Fall.

Cost: $35 per person for access to the island (includes transportation).

Dolphin Encounters are $85 per person for the "Close Encounter" and $165 per person to "Swim with the Dolphins". This includes access to the island and transportation.

By the way; if you are interested in the Dolphin experiences you'd better make reservations well in advance as they are usually booked up for three to six months in advance.
