Hello, I would like to get married on the beach in the Bahamas. Could you give me some info on how I can go about this? Also, maybe some locations and someone to marry us. Thank you

We were married at the Sandals resort about 4 years ago on P.I. it was very nice. I picked my maid of honors, flowers in their flower garden, not sure they would approve but I didn't ask. There were other couples getting married, the same day. I didn't mind. They flow the couples through very nicely and I didn't meet face to face with anyone else in a wedding gown.
We got married the first week of March. And it began to rain about the time the officiary was to arrive, So after some waiting we broke off for a brunch and regrouped and had our ceromony. It was perfect and the gentleman a local that preforms the service was an absolute gem.
And the rain was beautiful and gentle very refreshing, I do recall at the time being a little concerned about the rain, as we wanted to marry barefoot in the sand. And if I was planning a large wedding with alot of guests it may have been more stressful. But they did everything to comfort us and offered to move the wedding to the next day. But truley it is all the mind set. We went to the resort to not be stressed out. I did wish I could keep my flowers or a dried flower for a scrapbook. But you can't.ANd I would have liked to have had the beach combed for our photos. Find a local photographer, our bring your own like we did. We had beautiful Photos. They turned out much better then theirs did. But you'll have to buy them a day pass I think. So if you have a friend who is coming to the wedding and can take oics, can't hurt to have a different veiw.
I did keep my dress on the plane with me, just to avoid any unfortunate mishaps.
Be sure and register your marriage with your county. As they will not have anyother record of your marriage otherwise.
And we ordered two copies of our marriage cetificate, one as a back up.
Good luck!
