So, maybe I wasn't too bright about choosing to go to the bahamas in the middle of hurricane season, but how hard does it really get hit? I'm going to the Ritz resort the second week of October for my honeymoon and I'm starting to get a little nervous about what the weather is going to be like. Needless to say, I should pack a rain coat...correct?

If anyone knows anything that can help calm my nerves about the weather, let me know. Or....tell me the truth and tell me that it's going to be a rough weeks stay.

Thanks

It is always good to bring a light windbreaker, in case you go out on the ocean in the evening. But the rain here is warm and, except for during the occassional hurricane, it lasts for only a short period.

Honestly, I do not think you are going to encounter any bad storm activity coming down the second week of October. But then, Mother Nature is unpredictable and always full of surprises.
