We will be visiting paradise island in January from England & we are wondering what credit/debit cards we can use (visa/mastercard/maestro debitcard ) Also what hard cash would be advisable to bring eg Sterling, U S dollaar or Bahamian.

Visa and Mastercard are widely accepted. American Express is also popular. I do not know of any places that take Maestro.

Cash can be Bahamian or US, they are interchangeable.
