On Paradise Island (across the bridge from New Providence) there are two beaches that are often quite deserted.

One, is the old Club Med beach on the western end of the island.

The other is the world famous Cabbage Beach (behind Atlantis and the RUI). Cabbage Beach is usually crowded, EXCEPT near the far eastern end, near the golf course, where it is often quite unspoiled by crowds.

On New Providence, it depends on the time of day and the day of the week. During the week, even beaches like the one at Goodman's Bay are often uncrowded, but never deserted.

How do you get to a beach such as Cabbage Beach? I am among a group of 20+ ladies who are taking a cruise at the end of the month. We want to go to the beach for the day, but are unsure of where to go, or better yet, how to get there. Remember, we are only there for the day. (It will be a Saturday). Can you help? We would like a nice beach with perhaps some areas to snorkel, if possible.

Thanks!

MY HUSBAND AND I ARE VISITING FOR ABOUT 6 HOURS AND WANT TO MAKE THE MOST OF OUR TIME OUTSIDE OF THE USUAL TOURIST THING. WE ARE FROM THE MOUNTAINS OF MONTANA AND LOVE THE ADVENTUROUS DRIVE ON A RENTED MOPED. LOCAL LIFE AND SECLUDED AREAS ARE AWESOME . WE ARE OPEN TO IT ALL. AND LOOK FORWARD TO THE LOCAL FLORA.
