We are going to be passing through Nassau on our way to Eleuthera. On the way there, we will have a 4 hour layover. One the way back, we are overnighting in Nassau (staying at Orange Hill). I'm looking for a really good place to have lunch on the outbound trip and dinner the night we return. On the outbound trip, I want someplace near the airport. On the return trip, need someplace near Orange Hill - which I understand isn't all that far from the airport. I was told about the restaurant at Compass Point resort, but I can't seem to find any information about it. Is it open? Is it good? Any other recommendations for a good lunch or dinner near the airport and/or near Orange Hill? Thanks.

The restaurant at Compass Pointe is currently closed. The resort changed management and is in the process of being renovated.

Try Villaggios at Caves Village for an excellent dinner experience.

Also, there is a restaurant at Nettie's Place on Bay Street.
