Hi I have recently been in contact with a part time owner of a Harborside Villa and I am curious how do i know if they are who they say they are? Also what do i look for in a rental agreement to know it is legit? And what if they do not offer a rental agreement does that offer a huge hit saying scam? I am very skeptic about this whole procedure if someone has any advice or knows how to console my fears that would be great. Thank you for your time!

Hi - we rented a timeshare from two different people in Aruba - on both instances we were able to contact the timeshare property directly and confirm our reservation.

The owners also sent me the confirmation via email - and I did not have to pay the whole weeks rent all at once - 1/2 at time of deal and remaining half two weeks before trip.

I was skeptical at first - but we decided to try it - it was such an awesome deal that the owners were giving us - we couldn't pass it up.
