The top five most inefficient companies in the Marine industry as ranked by Revenue Per Employee (RPE) are listed below. RPE is used by analysts as a measure to compare the productivity of companies within an industry.

Seaspan (NYSE:SSW) has an RPE of $207K;
Ultrapetrol Bahamas (NASDAQ:ULTR) ranks second with an RPE of $213K;
American Commercial Lines (NASDAQ:ACLI) ranks third with an RPE of $294K.
Danaos (NYSE:DAC) in fourth position with an RPE of $337K
Euroseas (NASDAQ:ESEA) makes the top five with an RPE of $342K.
