Shooting on Bay Street

A crazed gunman chased his victims through crowded streets before shooting them in front of the Esso On The Run gas station on East Bay Street.

The wounded victims were left lying on the sidewalk as the attacker escaped, jumping into what police believe was a white BMW SUV with a getaway driver.

The gunman allegedly chased his two male victims down Fowler Street, then into the Esso gas station parking lot before shooting them.

Employees in nearby stores and businesses hit the ground when they heard shots ring out.

People on the street ran for cover.

The victims, Kevin Johnson, 45, and Franky Pierre, 40, are both listed in stable condition at Princess Margaret Hospital.
