BIFF Big Screen Art Scene Artists Announced

Nassau, Bahamas – By popular demand the Bahamas International Film Festival (BIFF) non – profit organization will be hosting the bi annual fundraiser “Big Screen Art Scene” once again Saturday, September 1st at 6:00pm.

This spectacular event will be on board the 135 foot Carrousel Yacht and ventures deep into the Bahamian arts and culture scene by building strong relationships with a wide variety of local artists.

The Big Screen Art Scene aims to modernize the art auction by creating an environment to interact and engage in dialogue with and about the artists.

We will be providing the artists with a platform to showcase and emphasis their work through a multimedia plan by projecting images on the BIG SCREEN throughout the event.

Fifty (50) Artists will donate a variety of mediums, objects, styles and services. As there are only 50 art pieces there will be only 50 ‘Collector’ tickets available for a cost of $ 400.00 each.

With the purchase of a ‘Collector’ ticket, the ticket holder is entitled to a work of art, however the work of art taken home will be a surprise!!

‘Guest’ tickets will also be on sale for $100.00, which entitles the ticket holder to attend the event, take part in the festivities but not receive a work of art.

All on Board Carrousel Yacht located at Hurricane Hole Saturday, September 1st, starting at 6:00pm sharp for tastes of the Islands and cocktails.

Drawing to begin at sea at 7:00pm.
