Baha Mar Casino Names New CEO

With an extensive background in both hotel management and casino operations, Paul V. Pusateri has been named chief operating officer of Baha Mar, the $3.5 billion destination gaming resort in the Bahamas.

Baha Mar, scheduled to open in December, 2014, will involve a 1,000-acre destination resort along 3,000 feet of beach in Nassau. It will be the home of Rosewood, Mondrian and Grand Hyatt Hotels and a 100,000 square foot casino whose gaming floor will have 1,500 slot machines and 150 table games.

Pusateri is a former president of the Palm Casino Resort in Las Vegas and also served as COO of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Previously, he was senior vice president of the Venetian and Palazzo resorts.

  • He’s not Sicilian, but at least he’s Italian. I think he will make a great boss and he has my blessings. I know he’ll take care of any crime problems in his Resort on his own. All you crooks thinking about robbing in his Resort better think twice, we Italians go by different rules…..Roman Law.
