Hollywood star Danny Glover is to receive this year’s Career Achievement Award at the Bahamas International Film Festival.
Cloud Images – a Nassau-based digital media, film, and television production company – is producing three short films for Protect Ya Self, a non-profit project by Bahamas United, USAID, and World Learning.

Film fans will have an opportunity to meet celebrities and view a variety of international films, along with Bahamian-made films during the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival (FLIFF) on location in Grand Bahama.
In October, Grand Bahama Island’s Pelican Bay Hotel will host several of a Florida film festival’s events, including an underwater cinematography workshop, film screenings and a celebrity appearance.
