Spirit Airlines Announces Cabin Fever Sale

Want to Get out of South Florida for a Few Days? Spirit Airlines offers fares for local residents from $36(a) each way.

Spirit Airlines, South Florida's hometown airline, is offering a sale to help locals who may be out of power or water get out of town for a few days.

"We know that there are many local South Floridians who need a little R&R right about now and we want to help," said Ben Baldanza, President and Chief Operating Officer of Spirit Airlines. "As a Miramar-based company, we know the strain that Hurricane Wilma and her aftermath has placed on local residents. It's definitely the right time to take a few days away from it all. We're calling this our Cabin Fever Sale and if you've caught it then you should definitely catch a Spirit flight out. These fares come with very few restrictions as we are all dealing with far too many other restrictions in our lives right now."
