{"id":10908,"date":"2011-08-08T09:14:23","date_gmt":"2011-08-08T13:14:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/?p=10908"},"modified":"2011-08-08T09:26:15","modified_gmt":"2011-08-08T13:26:15","slug":"new-us-to-cuba-flights-to-commence","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2011\/08\/new-us-to-cuba-flights-to-commence","title":{"rendered":"New US-Cuba Flights To Commence"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico &#8212; Cuba Travel Services (CTS) has received landing permission from the government of Cuba to begin flights from three new airports in the United States: Luis Mu\u00f1oz Mar\u00edn International Airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico (SJU), Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL) and Houston Intercontinental Airport (IAH) to authorized airports in Cuba.<\/p>\n<p>According to Michael Zuccato, general manager of CTS, non-stop service is expected to commence soon and will charter Airbus, Boeing 737, MD-80 as well as ATR-72 aircraft to operate these flights. CTS is currently in negotiations with several premier air carriers to operate this highly anticipated service.<\/p>\n<p>Cuba Travel Services currently operates three routes to Cuba from the United States: Miami-Havana-Miami, Miami-Cienfuegos-Miami and Los Angeles-Havana-Los Angeles.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>New non-stop flight routes will soon commence from three additional airports in the United States to authorized airports in Cuba.
