{"id":11200,"date":"2011-08-18T09:48:31","date_gmt":"2011-08-18T13:48:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/?p=11200"},"modified":"2011-08-18T09:48:31","modified_gmt":"2011-08-18T13:48:31","slug":"calypso-abandons-lng-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2011\/08\/calypso-abandons-lng-project","title":{"rendered":"Calypso Abandons LNG Project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Calypso U.S. Pipeline is surrendering its authorization and presidential permit to build an offshore pipeline to ship regasified LNG to Florida, according to a filing released Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>The company has been planning the pipeline since 2004, when the company received its first authorization from the U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.<\/p>\n<p>Calypso originally planned to build a pipeline to Florida from a planned LNG import terminal in the Bahamas.
