{"id":11732,"date":"2011-09-09T10:02:54","date_gmt":"2011-09-09T14:02:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/?p=11732"},"modified":"2011-09-09T10:02:54","modified_gmt":"2011-09-09T14:02:54","slug":"neil-percentie-shot-to-death-in-fox-hill","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2011\/09\/neil-percentie-shot-to-death-in-fox-hill","title":{"rendered":"Neil Percentie Shot To Death in Fox Hill"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Neil Percentie, 35, a community leader in Union Village, was shot to death yesterday in Fox Hill.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Percentie died Wednesday night in front of the Fox Hill Police Station, where he was taken after being shot multiple times while in the back seat of his cousin&#8217;s vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>His death was the 93rd death in 2011 for the Bahamas, one short of the record 94 murders recorded in the entire year of 2010.<\/p>\n<p>According to police, the shooting occurred at about 11:30pm on Reeves Street while Percentie was travelling with three females and another male in his cousin&#8217;s car.<\/p>\n<p>Someone apparently fired into their vehicle, hitting Mr Percentie multiple times.
