the about to be released in Nassau\u00a0 \u201cRock \u2018N Rolle Classic,\u201d a new French wine already top of the charts in other locales.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"  wp-image-134666 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/bnt-wine-art-6252.jpg\" alt=\"bnt-wine-art-6252\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/bnt-wine-art-6252.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/bnt-wine-art-6252-150x113.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/bnt-wine-art-6252-250x188.jpg 250w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Charismatic owners and wine makers Theo and Leon Kalkdijk of Rock \u2018N Rolle Wines captivated the audience at Booth #9, providing rare backstage insights into the intriguing world of wine.<\/p>\n<p>They explained that the Bahamian looking\u00a0 \u201cRolle\u201d on their trendy\u00a0 label actually\u00a0 refers to the variety of the grape, Rolle, which they feel suits the sunny weather and personality of The Bahamas. \u00a0 The refreshing blend \u201coffers a refreshing acidity with flavours of peach and white flowers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The savvy techie will be able to scan a Quick Response (QR) Code on the Rock \u2018N Rolle label or go to their website, sptfy.com\/rocknrolletunes to download a free play list of rock and roll music including \u201cSpill the Wine.\u201d\u00a0 Tee shirts read, \u201cDon\u2019t spill THIS wine!\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-134673 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/bnt-wine-art-6291.jpg\" alt=\"bnt-wine-art-6291\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/bnt-wine-art-6291.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/bnt-wine-art-6291-150x113.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/bnt-wine-art-6291-250x188.jpg 250w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A lively crowd surrounded them all afternoon at the French wine stall where another crowd favourite was Chateau Minuty \u2018Or\u2019\u00a0 2014,\u00a0 a delicate rose<br \/>\nfrom Provence, at $36.95 one of the most expensive wines on the list.<\/p>\n<p>Wine tasters and art fans danced their way through the shady paths of \u201cThe Retreat,\u201d keeping time to the music of many live performers including the young\u00a0percussionists\u00a0from the National School of Dance, lead by John Burrows, grandson of iconic drummer Chippy Chipman.<\/p>\n<p>The exotic tastes of Bristol\u2019s\u00a01er (Premier) Cru\u00a0Collection, eight wines from five countries, lured guests to their exclusive section, mixed in with the always impressive artist John Paul and \u00a0upwardly notable Marco Mullings. He bought two wide blue impressionistic seascapes from Papillon. Several artists reported selling multiple works even during Members Night, held on the eve of the event.<\/p>\n<p>Entertainment and food added to the enjoyment with culinary demonstrations coordinated by the Ministry of Tourism, featuring Chef Carvison Pratt. He paired his \u201cLobster and Sweet Potato Bites\u201d with Oyster Bay Chardonnay (Marlborough, New Zealand.)<\/p>\n<p>Best in show winners were photographer Rashad Penn&#8217;s striking series of crumbling docks and Mega Mergers Apprenticeship Program who passionately showcased works by students including recycled tires made into gaming chairs and accessories as well as rowing boats.<\/p>\n<p>Bahamian artists live included the \u201cSalt Artist\u201d Allan P.
