A man is being questioned by police in connection with an alleged indecent assault on a teenage girl.<\/p>\n
Police expect to indict the suspect, a 39-year-old resident of Freeport, soon.<\/p>\n
“We feel pretty positive where we are with the investigation that we expect charges to be laid soon in connection with this matter,” said Acting Assistant Commissioner of Police Emrick Seymour.<\/p>\n
As the investigation is in its early stage, police say they have no information that the girl is of any relation to the suspect.<\/p>\n
Police do have information, however, that the teen may have been in the suspect’s company over a period of time.<\/p>\n
“After we would have located the child, we discovered that there may have been some sexual encounter and so that is just the line of inquiry that we are pursuing,” he said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
