{"id":15485,"date":"2011-11-24T08:56:45","date_gmt":"2011-11-24T13:56:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/?p=15485"},"modified":"2011-11-24T08:56:45","modified_gmt":"2011-11-24T13:56:45","slug":"woman-accused-of-lying-to-protect-child-molester","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2011\/11\/woman-accused-of-lying-to-protect-child-molester","title":{"rendered":"Woman Accused of Lying To Protect Child Molester"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-15488\" title=\"stop-child-abuse\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/stop-child-abuse-250x250.jpg\" alt=\"stop child abuse\" width=\"250\" height=\"250\" \/>A prosecutor yesterday accused a woman of lying to protect her son during his trial.<\/p>\n<p>The man, who cannot be named, is accused of sexually molesting his  11-year-old daughter for seven months from July 2006 to February 20,  2007.<\/p>\n<p>The girl, who resembles her father, said she lived with her  grandmother, aunt, uncle and cousins in a four bedroom home in New  Providence when the molestation occurred.<\/p>\n<p>The girl testified that during that period her father would take her  from her grandmother\u2019s bed and take her into his room and have sex with  her.<\/p>\n<p>However, the grandmother denied that this happened.
