He filed a notice of intention to appeal the lower court\u2019s judgment on February 15, 2011.<\/p>\n<p>Birbal, who taught art and computer assisted design, taught one of his victims for five years and the other for just six weeks. The victims made police reports about the alleged abuse after they graduated from the school.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Andre Birbal was convicted a year ago for sexually abusing two of his students.
