almost completed their investigation into the alleged  suicide of a British man, who died aboard a Bahamian-registered cruise  ship earlier this month.<\/p>\n<p>Assistant Commissioner of Police Anthony Ferguson said a team from  the Central Detective Unit was dispatched to investigate the man\u2019s death  after he fell from the Allure of the Seas.<\/p>\n<p>The 30-year-old man is said to have fallen from the balcony of his room on Deck 11 of the ship.<\/p>\n<p>At the time, the cruise liner was off the coast of Mexico.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat is one of those matters that is almost completed.\u00a0 Pretty soon  we ought to be in a position to release our findings on that,\u201d ACP  Ferguson told reporters at a press conference at police headquarters  yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>Local police are called to investigate matters that occur in  international waters if the death took place on a Bahamian-registered  ship.<\/p>\n<p>Ferguson said an official cause of death would be made known once the matter is concluded.<\/p>\n<p>The death is one of several alleged suicides aboard cruise ships that police are investigating.<\/p>\n<p>In January a South Carolina man who was on board the Carnival Fantasy  cruise ship reportedly jumped from one of the cruise ship\u2019s upper  levels to a lobby level.<\/p>\n<p>The ship was docked at the Prince George Wharf when the incident occurred.<\/p>\n<p>The 26-year-old died at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>A crew member of Royal Caribbean\u2019s Monarch of the Seas died in early January after he allegedly jumped from the ship.<\/p>\n<p>The cruise liner was six miles from the Prince George Wharf when the 25-year-old allegedly killed himself.<\/p>\n<p>ACP Ferguson said once the investigations into these matters  finished, police will turn their findings over to the Attorney General\u2019s  Office.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #888888;\"><em><strong>Source:\u00a0 The Nassau
