The work will be carried out over approximately nine weeks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWork will be done on the outside of the existing carriageway initially,\u201d said Ms. Albury. \u201cMotorists will be able to continue their east\/west movements.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As of February 27 the intersection at Wulff Road\/Market Street will be closed to allow installation of underground traffic signal ducts, excavation and road paving works. \u00a0 This closure is expected to last for three\u00a0\u00a0 weeks.<\/p>\n<p>A full closure will be implemented beginning Monday, February 27 on Baillou Hill Road South between Soldier and Malcolm Roads. The closure is to facilitate installation of drainage, water mains and service ducts for all major utility companies and is expected to continue for several weeks. Motorists are asked to divert through Soldier or Malcolm Roads.<\/p>\n<p>Work has begun on the temporary widening of Prince Charles Drive between Burger King and Soldier Road. Two-way traffic is restricted to the northern section of the road.<\/p>\n<p>Roadworks continue on Market Street north between Wulff Road and Duke Street. \u00a0 A full closure is in effect between Brougham and Duke Streets to facilitate installation of underground utilities and paving. It is anticipated that Brougham Street to Ross Corner will be paved with the first layer of asphalt next week.<\/p>\n<p>Despite road closures,\u201d said Ms. Albury, \u201clocal access is granted to residents and business patrons.
