Prime Minister Perry Christie is "dead wrong" for keeping Holy Cross MP, Sydney Stubbs as chairman of BAIC, said Wendal Jones CEO of Jones Communications during his radio show, "Jones and Company", yesterday.

Mr. Jones said there was no justification for Mr. Stubbs to be in his position at BAIC today. He chastised the media for "dropping" the story.
<\/p>\n
FNM leaders called for the resignation of Mr. Stubbs who they allege fired BAIC employees because they were affiliated with the FNM.<\/p>\n
Mr. Stubbs, through a series of strongly worded letters, described the corporation's former general manager, Geoffrey Stuart, as a "festering sore on the back of the corporation."

"There is absolutely no justification in this world for Sydney Stubbs to be in his position at BAIC today. Prime Minister Christie is dead wrong in confirming that position," Mr. Jones said.
<\/p>\n
Last week reports circulated that the controversial chairman was confirmed in his position in the corporation.
<\/p>\n
Leader of the FNM party, Tommy Turnquest has called these reports a "slap in the face."
<\/p>\n
If these reports are true said Mr. turnquest, it is cause for concern as Mr. Stubbs has proven himself to be "unfit" to hold such an office.
<\/p>\n
However, Mr. Jones thinks the media in The Bahamas has dropped the story.
<\/p>\n
Mr. Jones pointed out that the media, since the BAIC controversy has started, has not been able to locate Mr. Stubbs.
<\/p>\n
Mr. Stubbs has refused to speak with the Tribune giving no explanation for the tone of his letters or reasons why the persons were fired from the corporation.
