{"id":239738,"date":"2002-10-21T12:15:12","date_gmt":"2002-10-21T16:15:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/?p=239738"},"modified":"2021-02-14T09:00:32","modified_gmt":"2021-02-14T14:00:32","slug":"tourism-boost-for-grand-bahama","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2002\/10\/tourism-boost-for-grand-bahama","title":{"rendered":"Tourism Boost For Grand Bahama"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Grand Bahama&#39;s tourism product will get international exposure and promotional opportunities through the island familiarization programme to be implemented for the Caribbean Tourism Conference (CTC) this month.<\/p>\n<p><P>The Ministry of Tourism has organised special familiarization tours of tourist attractions for intenational journalists who will attend CTC in Grand Bahama.<\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>The tours will be conducted on October 25 and 27, just before the official opening on October 28.<\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>&quot;Our guests are not only coming to attend a conference. They will be here to experience Grand Bahama in an enlightening and intimate way,&quot; said Adrian Archer, manager \/public relations in the Ministry of Tourism.<\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>The programme has brought millions of dollars worth of positive publicity to the islands of the Bahamas and individual business enterprises, such as hotels, restaurants and recreational establishments.<\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>The writers are scheduled to tour the Royal Oasis Gold Resort and Casino, Pelican Bay Resort and Our Lucaya Resort, which will host the conference.
