{"id":239934,"date":"2002-11-15T22:33:21","date_gmt":"2002-11-16T03:33:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/?p=239934"},"modified":"2021-02-14T08:59:24","modified_gmt":"2021-02-14T13:59:24","slug":"juvenile-has-unlawful-sex-with-3-year-old","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2002\/11\/juvenile-has-unlawful-sex-with-3-year-old","title":{"rendered":"Juvenile Has Unlawful Sex With 3-Year-Old"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A juvenile boy aged 14-years of Kemp Road opposite Cooper Terrace appeared before Magistrate Roger Gomez on Tuesday and pleaded guilty to a charge of unlawful sexual intercourse. <\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>The minor admitted that he engaged in unlawful sexual intercourse with a female-aged three years on November 10. <\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>He was remanded to Sandilands Rehabilitation Centre for two weeks for a psychological evaluation. <\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>Sergeant Ann Marie Neeley prosecuted. <\/P><\/p>\n<p><P><br \/>\n<B>Forgery charges<\/B> <\/P><\/p>\n<p><P><br \/>\nIn matters before Magistrate Marilyn Meeres of Court 5, Craig Higgs, 37; of Soldier Road West appeared and pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of a forged document. <\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>Higgs admitted that with the intent to evade the requirements of the law, he possessed a forged Bahamian passport in the name of Neil Glenwood Sands knowing it to be false. Police found him with the forged document on November 5 after a search of his home. <\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>He was ordered by the magistrate to pay a fine of $1,000 or serve one month at Her Majesty&#8217;s Prison in the event that the fine is not paid. <\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>Sergeant Daxon prosecuted. <\/P><\/p>\n<p><P><br \/>\n<B>Armed robbery <\/B><\/P><\/p>\n<p><P><br \/>\nHiggs after pleading guilty in Court 5 on forgery charges was taken before Magistrate Carol Misiewicz to face a number of armed robbery and other related charges. <\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>Police said that Higgs while armed with a handgun robbed Ricardo Johnson of cash and jewelry valued at $7,940 on October 25. <\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>It is alleged that the accused while armed with a handgun and concerned with others, robbed taxi driver Barrette Smith of a green 1996 Dodge Caravan, a Gucci watch, a gold chain, a Land wallet, a cellular phone, a pager and cash altogether valued at $19,222. <\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>It is alleged that the men received the van, valued at $17,060, between November 3 and November 4. He was also charged with allegedly kidnapping Smith on the same date. <\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>On November 2, police said the accused while concerned with others, armed with a handgun robbed Gino Stubbs of one green 1996, GMC Jimmy truck valued at $8,000. <\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>The men were alleged to have kidnapped Stubbs on the same date. <\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>Another charge for the same date alleged that the accused while concerned with others, did take away and detain a female of 17 years, and engaged in sexual intercourse with her without her consent. <\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>On the same date, Higgs while concerned with others, allegedly robbed Nikisha Belle at gunpoint of $1,065 the property of Texaco Service Station on Carmichael Road. <\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>Higgs while concerned with another is alleged to have robbed Alfred Neeley at gunpoint of $3,600, which was the property of Robin Hood Enterprises, Soldier Road. <\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>Additionally, Higgs was also charged with another for robbing Gregory Miller while armed with handgun of a Rolex watch and cash altogether valued at $9,000 on November 1. <\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>The accused who was represented by attorney Jerome Roberts was unable to plead to the charges against him. He was denied bail and remanded to Her Majesty&#8217;s Prison until December 2.
