{"id":241733,"date":"2003-03-18T13:54:13","date_gmt":"2003-03-18T18:54:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2003\/03\/cartwright-case-remains-open"},"modified":"2003-03-18T13:54:13","modified_gmt":"2003-03-18T18:54:13","slug":"cartwright-case-remains-open","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2003\/03\/cartwright-case-remains-open","title":{"rendered":"Cartwright Case Remains Open"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Although a man has been sentenced to death, police have not closed the 1996 murder case of Club 601 manager Joyanne Cartwright.<br \/>\n<P><br \/>\nAssistant Commissioner of Police Reginald Ferguson told The Tribune yesterday that &#8220;investifgations are continuing.&#8221;  He declined to comment further.<br \/>\n<P><\/p>\n<p>Although the trial of Ashley Newbold, the man accused of Ms. Cartwright&#8217;s murder ended last Thursday with the 29 year-old being sentenced to death, police are now seeking his co-conspirator.
