She said the 110-year Bahamian icon was to be silenced and its 72 members assigned to regular policing duties until the crime wave sweeping the nation was curtailed. <\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>Since then it seems we&#8217;ve seen mention of the band playing for official openings of police stations in Abaco and Exuma, and now they&#8217;re tuning up their instruments for the opening of the Red Cross Fair on Saturday.
