Benjamin Brown, an attorney from Juno Beach, was diving during a family holiday outing off Walker’s Cay on Friday when a bull shark bit him twice on the left leg. <\/P><\/p>\n
Brown’s family aboard their boat was scared, but nobody panicked. With a tourniquet tied to his leg, they rushed to shore, a 15-minute trip. <\/P>

\nLuckily, a good Samaritan with a private plane volunteered to take Brown to Palm Beach International Airport. From there, Brown was taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach. <\/P><\/p>\n
At St. Mary’s, he underwent four hours of surgery Friday to repair the damage. He suffered some nerve damage and will require further surgery this week. <\/P><\/p>\n
