The previous fee was $100 for all foreign boats.<\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>But boaters visiting the island of Bimini, 50 miles east of Miami, for last weekend&#8217;s Independence Day holiday reported that officials were already charging the higher fees.<\/P><\/p>\n<p><P>Boaters who are still planning to cruise to the Bahamas can call or e-mail Keith Gomez at the Bahamas Tourist Office in Plantation for information.
