{"id":242860,"date":"2006-07-26T10:09:02","date_gmt":"2006-07-26T14:09:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2006\/07\/police-crack-car-theft-operations"},"modified":"2006-07-26T10:09:02","modified_gmt":"2006-07-26T14:09:02","slug":"police-crack-car-theft-operations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2006\/07\/police-crack-car-theft-operations","title":{"rendered":"Police Crack Car Theft Operations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>According to Chief Superintendent Marvin Dames, the first discovery came around 6pm when officers acting on information went into the Windsor Lane area. <\/p>\n<p>There they reportedly found three Honda vehicles, two Sentras and one Ford Probe. <\/p>\n<p>Mr. Dames said the officers arrested three persons \uff96 a 20-year-old male resident of Quackoo Street, a 25-year-old male of Windsor Lane and a 23-year-old male resident of Exuma Street \uff96 in connection with the incident. <\/p>\n<p>The second discovery came around 8:30pm Monday when a team of officers from the crime squad unit, Internal Security Division and other areas recovered two stolen vehicles \uff96 a 2004 Honda Accord and a 1997 Honda \uff96 in the Pinewood Gardens area. <\/p>\n<p>Mr. Dames said police took a number of persons into custody in connection with the two discoveries.
