The people here at the SPCA can&#39;t understand that, since they find me to be a sweet, loving, gentle dog that is a pleasure to take care of.<\/p>\n<p>In the Bahamas I am known as a Potcake, a breed native to that region. I was not having much luck finding my forever home in the Bahamas, so I got a ticket north to try my luck here. <\/p>\n<p><img src=https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/images\/articles\/cupcake.jpg width=290 height=300 border=0 hspace=8 align=left>Will you make me yours so we can be together forever?<\/p>\n<p>This weekend is a splendid time to make a pet love connection. The SPCA is hosting an adopt-a-thon where adoption fees are reduced to $25 and hours are extended from noon to 8 p.m. Aug. 19-20.<\/p>\n<p>The SPCA will also have available animals at the Groton Old Home Days on Saturday, Aug. 19, and the Ithaca Farmers&#39; Market on Sunday, Aug. 20, with the same adoption fees.<\/p>\n<p>Adopt some love.<\/p>\n<p>The Tompkins County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is located at 1640 Hanshaw Road in Ithaca.
