{"id":243142,"date":"2006-08-24T11:22:53","date_gmt":"2006-08-24T15:22:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2006\/08\/newest-fun-ship-comming-soon"},"modified":"2006-08-24T11:22:53","modified_gmt":"2006-08-24T15:22:53","slug":"newest-fun-ship-comming-soon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2006\/08\/newest-fun-ship-comming-soon","title":{"rendered":"Newest &#8216;Fun&#8217; Ship Comming Soon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The &#8216;Freedom&#8217; will become the newest &#8216;Fun Ship&#8217; to operate from that port.<\/p>\n<p>Currently under construction at the Fincantieri shipyard in Maghera, Italy, the 2,974-passenger SuperLiner will launch alternating week-long eastern and western Caribbean cruises from the Port of Miami beginning November 17, 2007.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to the start-up of this program, Carnival Freedom will operate a special one-time four-day cruise from Miami to Key West and Cozumel November 12-16, 2007.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;With its wide range of on-board amenities, array of balconied staterooms, myriad dining, dancing and entertainment venues, and expansive facilities for children and teens, Carnival Freedom will be a spectacular addition to the &#8216;Fun Ship&#8217; fleet. Deploying this ship to Miami will provide our guests with even more exciting &#8216;Fun Ship&#8217; vacation options from the &#8216;Cruise Capital of the World,'&#8221; said Bob Dickinson, Carnival president and CEO.<\/p>\n<p> Carnival Freedom will replace Carnival Triumph which will be deployed from Miami to New Orleans to begin year-round seven-day Caribbean departures beginning in September 2007.
