Around 10:30am Sunday, officers from the Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) executed a warrant on a home in the Sandilands Village area where they discovered eight kilos of cocaine and two and a half pounds of marijuana with an estimated street value in excess of $120,000, police said.<\/p>\n
This latest incident followed a similar incident that led to the arrest of a 22-year-old man. <\/p>\n
In that case, police said they discovered nine plastic bags containing a substance believed to be marijuana. <\/p>\n
Police said the drugs weighed in excess of 43 pounds and had a street value of more than $43,000.<\/p>\n

The country\uff92s 37th homicide victim was identified as Hosea Lightbourne, a Coral Harbour resident.<\/p>\n
Police said Lightbourne was shot multiple times while walking through the Bain Town area around 3:45pm Saturday. <\/p>\n
Reports indicate that police have since arrested at least one suspect, who was attempting to leave the country for Miami, Florida.<\/p>\n
Active police investigations were ongoing into the matter.<\/p>\n
