A lethal cocktail of drugs killed Anna Nicole Smith’s son Daniel, it was claimed yesterday.<\/p>\n
The drugs – including methadone – led to an irregular heartbeat, according to a report in the mass circulation People Magazine.<\/p>\n
The magazine reported celebrity pathologist Dr Cyril Wecht as revealing the cause of death following toxicology reports from a US laboratory.<\/p>\n
Last night, coroner Linda Virgill – who set the original date for an inquest as October 23 – declined to comment.<\/p>\n
But People Magazine quoted Dr Wecht as blaming a combination of methadone, Zoloft and Lexapro for the death of 20year-old Daniel, who was found dead at his mother’s bedside in Doctors Hospital on September 10.<\/p>\n
People said Dr Wecht got the cause of death from National Medical Services in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n
