Quigley has been relieved of all duties from the company. <\/p>\n<p>And with Diana McGonigal now named the new acting director of operations, officials said that they will declare their additional board of directors in the near future. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The corporation decided to take on new changes within its executive board,&#8221; said Ross Fuller, chairman and director of The Bahamas Film Studio. &#8220;The board realizes that it was time to take the company to the next level.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>While no other changes to the board of directors has commenced, Fuller said that executives are currently working together to compile the final members. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are working with an advisory board whose members are made up of well-known names in the entertainment industry,&#8221; Fuller said. &#8220;Through this board, we will move ahead quickly toward our ultimate goal of success, thereby providing a new, sustainable industry in The Bahamas.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>The chairman said that the management team will be a part of a new initiative of the studio, which will include a series of alterations in the corporation&#8217;s facilities, filming and job opportunities for Bahamians. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There are many changes in the works, though none of them will take place over night,&#8221; he said. &#8220;Among the plans are additional facilities for filming, training for Bahamians in the film industry and moving ahead with several productions in both film and television with a focus on providing jobs and new career paths for Bah-amians.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>The studio has been responsible for producing some of the most monumental cinematography on the island, accommodating the filming of the popular, Pirates of the Caribbean II and III, a movie which has catapulted Grand Bahama to new social and economic heights. <\/p>\n<p>And, with the company setting such ground-breaking developments for the film industry on the island, Fuller said that the new changes would only further the success of the company. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are working with several major clients at the moment.
