{"id":243646,"date":"2006-10-16T11:43:59","date_gmt":"2006-10-16T15:43:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2006\/10\/pastor-injured-in-violent-confrontation"},"modified":"2006-10-16T11:43:59","modified_gmt":"2006-10-16T15:43:59","slug":"pastor-injured-in-violent-confrontation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/news\/2006\/10\/pastor-injured-in-violent-confrontation","title":{"rendered":"Pastor Injured In Violent Confrontation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Chief Superintendent Basil Rahming reported over the weekend that two sisters from Abaco were expected to face formal charges within the next several days following their alleged attack on a pastor and a young woman.<\/p>\n<p>According to police reports, sometime around 8:45pm Tuesday an 18-year-old woman was walking with her mother along Crockett Drive on Abaco when she was confronted by the sisters, ages 17 and 20.<\/p>\n<p>The older sibling reportedly struck the victim in the back with a large rock then hit her in the head with a beer bottle. <\/p>\n<p>Mr. Rahming said upon seeing the altercation Rev. Stephen Knowles, 43, pastor of the Strong Tower Tabernacle in Dundas Town, Abaco, intervened and attempted to restrain the 20-year-old attacker. <\/p>\n<p>Police reports indicate that she violently attacked him and struck him in the face with a large rock. <\/p>\n<p>Rev.
