In a fiery sermon Bishop Neil Ellis warned the Constitutional Commission that all “hell will break loose” if any attempt is made to take the words “christian values” out of the Bahamas constitution.

\nDo that, he thundered, and “the next election, all of you’ll be gone, all!”
\n
\nBishop Ellis also threw his full support behing Bishop Drexel Gomez and Council president Bishop Samuel Green in the strong stand they have taken against same-sex marriages and active homosexuality.

\nIn his Sunday morning sermon at his Mount Tabor Full Gospel Baptist Church in Pinewood Gardens, Bishop Ellis made it clear to the PLP government what would happen if the words that guaranteed to the people “of this family of islands” that their freedoms would be preserved by “an abiding respect for Christian values and the Rule of Law” were removed.
