This is the first time the Prime Minister has spoken publicly on the controversial issue that has strong support by the Rainbow Alliance of The Bahamas (RAB), a gay rights movement and other pro-gay groups.<br \/>\n<P><a href=https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/webawards\/order_tickets.htm><img src=https:\/\/www.bahamasb2b.com\/webawards\/images\/tickets.jpg width=179 height=259 border=0 vspace=3 align=right><\/a><br \/>\nIn the past several weeks, many secular and religious leaders have expressed strong objections to the Alliance&#39;s stand on gay and lesbian rights.<br \/>\n<P><br \/>\nBishop Samuel Green, president of the Bahamas Christian Council, has vowed to continue to protest  same-sex unions.
