FNM National Chairman Carl Bethel, also urged Prime Minister Perry Christie to “quickly retsore public confidence in the integrity of the members of his government.”

\nMr. Bethel accused Mr. Miller of “blatantly breaking” the Code of Ethics, implemented by Mr. Christie. He claimed that the minister did not get the Prime Minister’s consent before obtaining a personal interest in a contract with a government agency.

\nThe demand came afterthe FNM and its supporters held a press conference at Mr. Miller’s Summer Winds Plaza on Harrold Road Saturday. FNM leader Tommy Turnquest accused Mr. Miller of a “clear conflict of interest and an abuse of power” in the leasing of office space by the Bahamas Telecommunications Company in a plaza owned by Mr. Miller.
