The murders bring the total count for the year to 35.<\/P><\/p>\n
Police said at 12:58 a.m. Sunday Gary Adderley, 24, also known as “Biggie” of Curtis Road, Gambier, was killed at Douglas Road in Gambier Village. <\/P><\/p>\n
The victim was reportedly involved in an altercation with another male and was stabbed in the neck and another area of his body, police said.<\/P><\/p>\n
Adderley was taken to the Princess Margaret Hospital, but succumbed to his injuries around 3 a.m., according to police reports.<\/P><\/p>\n
Police reported that they were following significant leads in the case and expected to make an arrest soon.<\/P><\/p>\n
Also on Sunday, around 7:36 a.m., the body of Kenneth Brown, 19, of Ridgeland Park was pulled out of waters at Potter\ufffds Cay Dock, police said.<\/P><\/p>\n
They reported that the young man had multiple stab wounds to the body.<\/P><\/p>\n
A few hours before at 1:58 a.m., another stabbing took place in the area of Potter\ufffds Cay Dock.<\/P><\/p>\n
Sabreo Glinton, 17, of Stapledon Gardens, reportedly received multiple stab wounds to the head and body.<\/P><\/p>\n
He was taken to hospital for treatment, but it is believed that his injuries are not life threatening. <\/P><\/p>\n
Police said that two men, both 23 – one of York and Ernest Streets and the other of London Terrace – were being questioned in connection with the incident. <\/P><\/p>\n
Police believe that an altercation between the victim and the two men resulted in the stabbing. Investigators also believe that the two Potter\ufffds Cay incidents are related.<\/P><\/p>\n
In other crime news, around 9:37 p.m. Saturday, two armed dark-skinned males reportedly entered the VIP Chinese restaurant at Bay and Deveaux Streets. <\/P><\/p>\n
They demanded cash and made off with an undetermined amount of money and four Quik Cell cards. <\/P><\/p>\n
The men escaped on foot in the Dowdeswell Street area, police said.<\/P>
