\nWanted by the U.S. are: Austin Knowles Jr., 39; Edson Watson, 35; Shawn Corey Saunders, also known as Shawn Bruey, 33; Nathaniel Knowles, 28; and police constable Ian Bethel, 34. <\/P><\/p>\n
When the men entered court, the magistrate informed them that she was not in possession of all court transcripts and she was waiting to receive additional authorities. <\/P><\/p>\n
Attorneys representing the five men include Queen’s Counsel Keir Starmer, Senator Damien Gomez, Elliot Lockhart, Ian Cargill and Murrio Ducille. <\/P><\/p>\n
Francis Cumberbatch, Neil Braithwaite and Sandra D. Gardiner represent the Requesting State. <\/P><\/p>\n
No attorneys for either side were present in court when the magistrate revealed such matters. <\/P><\/p>\n
The new date for the ruling on whether or not Magistrate Bethel is satisfied that sufficient evidence has been presented to warrant the extradition is November 12 at 2 p.m. <\/P><\/p>\n
Watson and Saunders face charges of conspiracy to import, attempting to import, possession of a U.S. vessel with the intent to distribute, and import into the U.S. five kilos of cocaine. <\/P><\/p>\n
Austin Knowles faces another importation charge, in addition to conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute, and possession with the intent to distribute five kilos of cocaine. <\/P><\/p>\n
PC Bethel was charged with conspiracy to import five kilos of cocaine, while Nathaniel Knowles was charged with conspiracy to import, attempting to import and possession of a U.S. vessel with the intent to distribute five kilos of cocaine. <\/P><\/p>\n
Until the date of the ruling the men remain on remand at Her Majesty’s Prison, Fox Hill, held without bail. <\/P><\/p>\n
