The case was thrown out because prosecution “failed to make a good enough case” against the accused.

\nJustice Ricardo Marques informed the jury yesterday that they would be “required to bring a not guilty verdict” as he regarded prosecution’s evidence as “inadmissable”.
\n
\nThere was nothing left for the jury to decide after justice Marques realised that the lead prosecutor in the case, Gillian Williams’ main thrust was weak.

\nAccording to Francis Cumberbatch of the AG’s office “the case relied on one bit of evidence pertaining to a telephone conversation or statement made by the accused,” said Mr. Cumberbatch.
